Okayyy....so I know haven't been in here for a while and I'm going to hit myself for it...*whack*...okay that hurt. So last night we had to rush my puppy Maxine to the animal hospital that was open 24 hrs. Yeah...we had terminex come in and exterminate the bugs we have in our house and he sprayed the baseboards and stuff. He warned us to not let the dog out because she might lick the floor and the chemicals could kill her. So... my sister was supposed to feed the dog and she left her alone, guess what? The dog decided to go near where the chemicals were sprayed. No one knew if she actually licked the stuff up but we had to rush her anyway. She's a baby and any exposure to that stuff could be deadly. Thank god the doctor who saw her said she looked healthy and had no symptoms. While we were waiting for them to bring the dog back out this girl was waiting for her pet Cobra (yes that's a snake) to come back. The nurse brought her out and said she was "sorry and there was something inside of it that killed it". The girl looked like she was going to cry. I felt so bad. I think I would have cried if they said my dog had been exposed and might have died. Anyway this couple brought in their dog who was sooo cute! It had cut it's eye area up pretty bad so they had this big satellite thing around its head. It was a Chow dog, all fluffy and had this adorably cute full face. I hope my dog is fine, because sometimes the symptoms don't show up until 2-3 days later. Well I'll be in here later to write again!
